Heavy Haulage & Material Supply

Lucas Earthmovers operates a modern fleet of prime movers, low loaders and tippers to 100 tonne capacity.

Heavy haulage contracting, bulk material cartage, stockpiling and ship loading (30,000 tonnes) are regularly undertaken for clients transporting shipping ores, salt and bulk commodities.

Lucas can supply materials such as quarry products, aggregates, rock armour, sand and bulk fill.

Material Supply

Lucas can supply your project will all types of quarry materials from pipe bedding sand, bulk fill material, quarry rubble, crushed rock and screenings and drainage aggregates.

Lucas can produce and haul these materials in-house providing a completely controlled project not bound by constraints of dealing with numerous subcontractors and suppliers.

CURRENT PROJECTS

Uni SA - Hindmarsh - Wine Innovation & Cluster Building Site

Lucas Earthmovers has been contracted to excavate and remove approximately 20,000 tonne of unsuitable material and replace this with suitable fill from their Southern Waste Depot.

Anglicare - Trott Park - South Australia

Lucas Earthmovers has been working on an 18 month project for Sarah Constructions on a 3 story residential aged care facility at Trott Park in Adelaide's south.

The main components of this project have been to complete the bulk earthworks, cut and fill, as well as construct retaining walls, a carpark, and construct the road works within the facility. The project also requires Lucas to complete the construction of common services to the site, such as storm water facilities and the sewer infrastructure.

PAST PROJECTS

Stage 2 - Harbour Town

Lucas Earthmovers were contracted to do the bulk haulage for Stage 2 of the Harbour Town development at Adelaide Airport. Lucas supplied and hauled over 30,000 tonne of select fill material from their Southern Waster depot, and built the site to a subgrade level.
